Which way are the beams protected with undercoat anti- corrosion paint? Is this correct according to the fire protection systems aforementioned in question No.1? What is the thickness of the undercoat paint? Is the beam’s manufacturer authorized to make undercoat paint under for the intumescent paint coatings system?

This is due to Technical Approval and ETA. The undercoat paint is made according to the guidelines of the manufacturer of the intumescent paint coatings and supplied by them. The durability of the coating was specified in the Carboline formal letter (Annex No. 9). The manufacturer of PFEIFER-Hybridbeams has been trained in the field of paint coatings by the paint manufacturer and has the necessary equipment and staff to apply them, fulfilling the requirements specified in the ETA (Annex No. 5). The license allowing to make intumescent paint coatings can be found in Annex No. 16.
