The advantages of using Hybridbeam® in multi-storey car parks are also seen in the construction of residential buildings, as most of them have an underground level intended for a car garage. Replacing the classic binding joists in the ceiling above the basement with hybrid beams of a much lower height brings measurable benefits in the form of lowering the entire underground floor. Thanks to this, it is possible to reduce the foundation depth, limit the amount of earthworks and reduce the height of the basement walls along with insulation.
Hybridbeam® can also be used successfully in aboveground ceilings in combination with monolithic, filigree or hollow slab ceilings, e.g. as a support for walls on higher floors. It is possible to obtain a "perfectly" smooth ceiling by forming slabs with a recess in the area of the support on the beam.
