The Schunk Tower in Heuchelheim is not only part of the landscape, but also an integral part of the town’s history. Thanks to our HYBRIDBEAM^®, we have now also been able to become a part of this history. In the 130 years of its existence, the tower has been rebuilt several times, changing its shape and purpose (for a time, it served as a water reservoir for the area, among other things). For decades, an international technology tycoon has been operating at this location: The Schunk Group, which has now undertaken a further conversion of the facility. This will increase the height of the tower by a further 4 m and create a new viewing platform on its roof. The design was created by the architectural firm Feldmann Architekten. We would like to thank the architects for providing the animated images.

HYBRIDBEAM^® enables new storeys to be added with lightweight constructions and combines aesthetics with functionality. Our Hybridbeam^® means:
